Sociology of Revolutions

In this course, we will examine classic and contemporary sociological explanations for the emergence of revolutions, their sustained nature over time, and the consequences that follow. The course proposes a dialogue between Anglo-Saxon and Latin American literatures, as well as another between studies of social movements and revolutions.
